General Purpose: Assist Company Recruiters with site or office recruiting activities including advertising, screening resumes, applicant follow-up, employment testing and the like. Maintain files, or database, of available applicants for supervisory, technical, clerical and craft positions. |
Work Schedule: 7:30 am 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am 12:00 pm Friday. Over time required at manager discretion.
Prepare monthly employee statistical reports including KPIs and federal statistics
Print and process all employee paperwork including distribution,
Respond to and complete all requests for employment references and verifications
Arrange travel itineraries and ensure proper coding of travel-related charges
Maintain personnel files
Serve as primary coordinator of employee pre-employment training, back ground checks and drug screens.

Provide administrative support for Human Resources
Performs general administrative duties such as copying and distributing mail, and other correspondence
Work within company policy as outlined in the Lauren Engineers Constructors Employee Handbook and in compliment with the LEC Human Resources Policy Manual, LEC Safety Manual and OSHA Safety rules
Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
1 to 3 years of administrative experience in a Human Resources office
Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office applications
Office equipment operation
Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special language skills where there is a business need)
Proficient in office software, IE. Microsoft, spread sheets, HRIS, Ect.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibility
Physical Demands Working Conditions
The overall nature of the position is sedentary requiring little physical effort with occasional light physical exertion required. There is occasional exposure to environmental noises does.
The constant physical demand of the position is sitting.
The frequent physical demands of the position are standing, walking, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, stooping, handling, grasping, feeling, and eye/hand/foot coordination.
Occasional road travel is required
This position does not have regular any travel requirement
Required Personal Protective Equipment
Employees must use hard hats, eye protection (ANSI Z87), hearing protection (where required), safety-toe protective footwear (ANSI Z41) and gloves as required by industry/construction safety standards or as deemed necessary by Company safety policy and procedure.
