Associate's Degree in Business or Office Management or comparable combination of education and experience.
Three years progressively responsible secretarial/administrative experience. Strong working knowledge of computer applications, and proficient use of MS Office, Word, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Department Position Summary:
Assists the Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services (PFS) in support of achieving the overall revenue cycle assigned goals. Organizes resources, as necessary to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. Using a multitude of software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Creates or finalizes communication documents, presentations, and reports. Plans and schedules meetings and activities for the Sr. Director. Revenue Cycle and the PFS division. Provides administrative support to management & supervisory staff, including telephone support, word processing, supply ordering, filing, and other administrative duties. Develops administrative policies as required. Recommends changes to improve office workflow. Generates management reports. Assists in preparing documents for Board presentations. Reviews and submits payroll records using the KRONOS system. Responsible for overseeing PFS contracts utilizing MediTract Contract Collaborator. Handles all matters in a confidential manner.
The Administrative Assistant should be proficient with a variety of personal computer (PC) software applications including Microsoft Office and should also be proficient in the use of all standard office equipment. Demonstrates the ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision. Exercises initiative and judgment, and makes decisions within the scope of assigned authority. Possesses a mastery of office skills including organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills including grammar, spelling and punctuation.
