The purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to support the Practice Plan Director’s of Operation to ensure overall efficiency of the Practice Plan. Required to support global departmental initiatives to facilitate structure and organization throughout the Practice Plan. Function as liaison for communication between the hospital Administration team and the Director’s of Operations.
Skills & Abilities:
The administrative assistant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be proficient in Spreadsheet development and maintenance. Will be responsible for drafting letters and managing calendars, coordination of contracting activity between Directors of Operations and the Contracting office as it pertains to new hire physicians, physician renewals, service agreements and leasing agreements. Additionally, this role is responsible for coordinating centralized purchasing of required reference materials used throughout the Practice Plan as an efficient method for placing orders and for taking advantage of discounts.
Additional duties include the upkeep and communication pertaining to the New Physician Hire Grid and notification of new physician on boarding committee members with notification of changes. Assume the lead role for special projects that develop periodically throughout the Practice Plan. Responsible for submitting specialized notifications and announcement upon request on behalf of the entire Practice Plan. Eg Practice closures,
The right person will need to demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple activities. This person will need strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing and the ability to work within a team environment.
Training & Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college is preferred. Prior administrative experience is a plus.
