Employee is primary contact for students and a central person in the operations for the Student Success Center at Lewiston-Auburn College. Functions include academic and career advising support, student billing, registration services, dean’s office support, retention initiatives, and student employee supervision. Employee performs administrative and clerical work which requires extensive procedural knowledge and organizational skills. Work involves considerable internal and external contacts. Handling verbal and written communications for a broad range of questions. Judgment and initiative are frequently exercised and work is typically performed under general rather than specific instruction. Ability to work as part of a team is essential, as are providing exemplary customer service, maintaining confidentiality, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and to prioritize, and ability to work in a diverse environment with many interruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: H i g h sc h oo l di p l om a o r eq u iva l ent ( G . E .D.) AN D su f ficient e xper i e n ce, including one year a d m i n istr a ti v e s upp o rt e x p erien c e. Demonstrated computer proficiency. Preferred: Experience in a university or similar office setting.
