Provides Director of Clinical Services with referral information. Verifies insurance coverage and negotiates with third-party payers for reimbursement as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience Registered nurse with a current state license Minimum 2 years health care experience, hospice, home health, or long-term care experience preferred Meet all federal and state regulatory requirements to function as hospice or home health administrator Current CPR certification Must have a valid driver's license and 24-hour access to a motor vehicle for travel and maintain personal auto-liability insurance coverage Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

Preferred Qualifications
* Must possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job Knowledge of policies and state(s) and federal regulations pertaining to nursing services Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, family members, and other employees at all levels
