Under general supervision, process admission applications and supporting documentation and answer general questions concerning the college and its programs.
Perform a variety of routine computer procedural operations such as downloading, updating and preparing applications, utilizing Banner and Microsoft Office for producing a variety of reports and managing the inquiry database to coordinate mailings.
Answers general questions and inquiries of a routine nature concerning the college, its various programs, making referrals to counselors on non-routine matters as needed.
Performs data entry for standardized test scores, application decisions and to update application materials.
Maintains adequate inventory of bulk mailing supplies and promotional materials.
Supervises and directs the work activities of student workers.
Types departmental correspondence using advanced Microsoft office skills.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date registration lists for events as well as for confirming student registration for tours, appointments, and events.
Reports to the Director of Operations.
Bachelor Degree strongly preferred, high school degree or equivalent required. Experience should include advance knowledge in Microsoft office formatting, mail merge and creating labels. Must have at least 1 year of general office experience. Position is predominately desk-oriented with limited need to physically access areas outside the department’s immediate general area.
