Responsibilities of Position:
This position primarily role is to act in the role of controls and tester specialist for. In this role the individual has the following responsibilities within the business:
Support CoC Project Managers on new product launches with respect to PC based control systems and test stand development and function
Convert engineering test specifications to plant floor manufacturing test requirements. Support and/or manage new product introduction programs
Support plant operations with regards to selection and installation of machine control devices for safety
Co-lead development of standards for Machine PLC s and electrical controls
Act as liaison between suppliers and new equipment installations
Liaison between IT Department and shop floor systems
Documentation of ladder logic and other related programs
Maintain Inventory of BCVS PCS control systems and develop a 5-year strategy around development of systems and maintenance of systems. Included input into the capital forecast
