Under minimal supervision and with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment, performs complex support work in the maintenance/operation of the gifts processing system. Work involves performing detailed assignments in recording/classifying/examining and verifying records/document/records.
Prepares and processes daily deposit transactions which includes using the electronic bank system. Processes and maintains records on all gifts, pledges, and membership transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Prepares receipts and acknowledgment letters in response to gifts received. Ensures integrity of data entered into development database; maintains accuracy of names and addresses of alumni and donors. Reviews print-outs, interprets and enters gift data, verifies input for accuracy, and retrieves information upon request. Sends informational and/or benefits packages to donors. Reads and routes incoming mail; locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer; files correspondence and other records. Updates and corrects donor records, keys special projects and performs related clerical or process functions as needed. Participates in events and projects as shall be deemed necessary to support the broader goals of the division. May assist with supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Coordinator for Gift Processing.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems. Complies with all State and University policies. Other related functions as assigned.
