Eduventures has an exciting opportunity open for a mid-level candidate seeking to start a career at a fast-paced research and consulting firm. The Advisor will join a relatively new team that engages with Eduventures clients to help them identify their needs and fulfill their goals and missions through their partnership with Eduventures. Eduventures seeks an individual with strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, a passion for understanding needs and working with clients to help solve them, an understanding of research and research methodologies, business acumen, and strong attention to detail. The ability to build relationships internally is essential to this role, as the Advisor will be leveraging resources from across the organization to meet client needs. While not a subset of the sales team, Client Services partners closely with sales to ensure that client needs are met, whether within the subscription services or outside of them.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of these roles include, but are not limited to:

Managing a portfolio of institutional clients

Leading check-in calls and needs assessment conversations with existing subscription-based clients

Scoping custom analysis and writing proposals for custom research

Being conversant in Eduventures' products and services and matching needs with the right resources at Eduventures

Partnering internally to ensure that the client experiences seamless service and that needs are met in a timely manner

Developing and maintaining an understanding of higher education and Eduventures' research

Understanding Eduventures' research across six main domains (i.e., Enrollment Management, Development, Schools of Education, Continuing and Professional Education, Online Higher Education, Assessment)

Having situational fluency in almost all domains Eduventures serves and the ability to link research to client struggles

Participating in cross-functional teams to conduct special projects

Advisors may lead portions of cross-functional projects that improve the client delivery and experience through internal improvements

Examples of projects include:
Client retention analysis

Client onboarding process improvement


Exceptional client service ethic

Strong written and verbal business communication skills

Superior attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

Strong analytical skills and an interest in understanding Eduventures research and research methodologies

Interest in higher education

Passion for strategic client relationship management

Business-oriented, entrepreneurial mind-set

Bachelor's degree required

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This is a full-time, salaried role with benefits, based in our Boston office.
