Position Summary: Performs organizational level servicing, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Conducts weapons loading, storage and transport. Repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines. Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, landing gear, fuel systems and mechanical components. Working knowledge of UAS unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and other special tools and equipment. Uses and interprets technical orders (TO''s) and technical data to apply working knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose maintenance problems and determine appropriate corrective action.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Services and inspects UAS aircraft, components and related aerospace equipment.
Performs end-of-runway, post- flight, pre-flight, thru-flight and phase inspections.
Removes and installs UAS components and conducts functional and operational tests.
Adjusts, aligns and rigs UAS flight controls and other components
Performs aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and manual movement.
Inspects and checks components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation and operation.
Operates and inspects powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment.
Performs structural repair, inspects and identifies corrosion for prevention and repair.
Completes aircraft maintenance forms entries and enters data into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), ensures entries are accurate and complete.
Responsible to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
May be required to meet typical Cross Utilization Training (CUT) qualifications to include MQ-1/9 Weapons Loading, IMDS Aircraft De-Brief, Battery Re-conditioning and Avionics System Operational Checks.
Performs aircraft launch and recovery and performs other duties as assigned or directed.

Five (5) years of Aviation Maintenance experience. Equivalent experience to USAF 5-Skill Level. Airframe and Power Plant FAA License or equivalent military aircraft maintenance experience.
C urrent Secret Security Clearance. US Citizen or proper immigration status.
Must be willing to travel overseas for extended periods of time as required by the company. Must be able to meet company fitness for duty requirements.
