KLA-Tencor is seeking a talented graduate student for the position of algorithm engineer intern in the reticle product division (RAPID). You will have opportunities to work within our world-class algorithm group to develop advanced algorithms for super resolution DUV/EUV imaging system to detect sub-wavelength defects on a reticle. The main assignment for this intern position is to help us improve our modeling calibration tool using your knowledge in numerical method, image processing, and optimization algorithms.
The ideal candidate will have research background in one of the following areas: numerical methods, optimization algorithms, and image processing. The candidate needs to have good programming and math skills, and have some experience in algorithm prototyping tools such as MATLAB.
- Experience in C++ and object-oriented programming
- Current enrollment in an engineering graduate program in US or Canada
