With moderate supervision, manage relationships with, and satisfy expectations of all VSP doctors to ensure customer retention and loyalty to the Altair eyewear program.
Maintain and grow existing accounts by establishing solid business relationships with existing customers in order to increase revenue. Educate VSP doctors on the Altaireyewear program.
Work independently while leveraging appropriate partners to exceed quota targets while achieving balanced product line results
As assigned, monitor specified types of accounts to ensure requirements are being met.
Monitor accounts to identify potential issues. Gather and analyze data to offer alternative solutions within established processes to resolve identified problems while continuing to meet customer expectations.
Develop a strong understanding of the customer’s business and business requirements with the goal of increasing Altair’s board space in the account. Leverage the breadth and depth of Altair’s/VSP’s offerings by identifying opportunities for cross selling, lead sharing and integrated selling.
Promotes strong and effective working relationships with VSP’s divisions. Collaborates closely with the extended customer team to deliver a readily available, highly responsive and personal solution-centric total customer experience. Identifies and communicates future customer requirements and feedback to VSP’s divisions and partners.
Maintain current working knowledge of Altair/VSP systems, products, sales strategies and marketing opportunities. Identify opportunities and recommend changes for improvements.
Consistently update CRM tools as a communication vehicle to management, divisions and extended sales team. Utilize sales automation and order entry systems to process orders, make inquiries, maintain records, and prepare reports.
Provide targeted accounts with highly available sales support to end users and quick issue management as needed
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
One to two years sales or account management experience or equivalent
Two years experience in a business setting, demonstrating proven quality customer service skills
Ability to develop relationships and provide quality customer service
Ability to demonstrate analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and rapport building skills
Familiarity with PC applications
