Title: CLO Compliance Associate
Department: Alternative Investments
The Structured Products Specialist will be responsible for the compliance of the firms multi-billion CLO/CDO vehicles and will manage all financial and compliance aspects of the products.
Preparation of monthly performance reports as well as quarterly distribution reports to investors for multiple investment vehicles (CLOs/CDOs).
Prepare reconciliations comparing key portfolio information and statistics between the manager and the trustee. Resolve differences in a timely manner.
Daily reporting to portfolio managers and CFO on investment compliance criteria and objectives.
Hypothetical trade testing.
Prepare/Calculate responses to requests from portfolio managers.
Maintain various projection models using Intex.
Liaise and consult with legal and audit advisors.
Understanding and interpreting requirements outlined in legal documents governing operating and reporting requirements to ensure compliance with such documents.
Review daily cash flows and reconciliations to ensure proper allocation of payments.
Perform periodic equity requirement calculations.
Working with information technology to develop and implement new reporting tools and enhance reporting transparency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors degree.
Strong knowledge of CLOs/CDOs including compliance test requirements and governing documents.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience with a CLO/CDO manager or trustee.
Strong Excel skills.
Experience with Wall Street Office and/or Intex a plus.
Must possess a strong attention to detail.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact effectively with other finance professionals, investment professionals, external service providers, investors, as well as the ability to handle a variety of constituencies.
