GENERAL SUMMARY |
Will work closely with physicians and social workers to develop a coordinated program for children with CP and their families. Completes the appropriate visit assessment. Documents a plan of care on the medical summary and/or clinic visit sheet as appropriate by delegating patient care as appropriate, evaluating patient care and patient's response/progress, reassess patients and revises plan of care as appropriate. Supervises patient care, plans discharge, collaborates effectively with all health care disciplines to facilitate patient outcomes and plans, provides, delegates, and evaluates patient/family education as appropriate.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Ohio RN licensure.
One year of nursing experience required .
Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a diverse patient population.
Requires excellent proven customer service skills and the ability to function within a multi-disciplinary team.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk, speak, read and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation, and care for oneself with little or no difficulty.
Must be able to independently lift up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person (s) and/or equipment.
