GDIT is seeking an Electronic Technician and Maintenance Analyst to support its customer at the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Baltimore, MD. The successful candidate will perform routine tasks associated with the transformation of Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPC) within the U.S. Coast Guard Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) and other repositories as assigned. The Maintenance Analyst will serve on a team executing business consulting and program management tasks under a maintenance and logistics contract with the SFLC. The candidate will perform routine maintenance and logistics tasks in support of electronics equipment and systems aboard USCG Small Boats. Responsibilities include, performing Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis, developing Maintenance Requirement Lists (MRL), drafting maintenance procedures, and the verification of maintenance procedures aboard Small Boats assets. Tasks include verification of vessel configuration, field changes, and technical documentation for all maintenance configuration items, and collection of logistics information (manufacturer, make, model, part number, CAGE Code, NSN) for parts identified on accurate Technical Publications and Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs).

The candidate will provide support in a type desk environment responding to the logistics, maintenance and supply needs of the fleet. Candidate will provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services as well as focusing on three functional areas: configuration, maintenance and technical documentation support. Incumbent will attend and participate in shipboard validations, Team Meetings and work groups as required to develop and improve processes.

Demonstrated experience with logistical support and sustainment of existing or future systems to include design analysis, design of new or modification packages.

Demonstrated experience in providing support in areas similar to the requirements defined in this job description, including but not limited to providing expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering and electronics problems; and evaluating, implementing, integrating and maintaining all hardware for the supported environment.

General experience required includes developing standards and guidelines for tasks being performed; Experience interfacing with and supporting government personnel.

Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience; Must have at least 4 years specialized experience ET Maintenance experience.

Must have at least 9 years general and 6 years specialized CG Maintenance experience in shipboard electronics without a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or comparable field. With an associate's degree, candidate must have 7 years general and 4 years specialized experience.

See Education/Equivalent. Also, specialized experience includes progressive experience in the design of integrated circuits and the use of computer workstations and computer simulation of circuits.

Must have U.S. Coast Guard experience specifically.

Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Level II Certification (desired).
