We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our Peptide Lead Optimization group and aid in our drug discovery and development efforts. The successful candidate will have a direct impact on how various peptides are optimized for clinical development. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in the discovery and development of next-generation peptide therapeutics.
- Analyze physiochemical properties of candidate peptides, including their stability, viscosity and solubility using a variety of analytical methodologies, including analytical RP-HPLC, LCMS, size-exclusion HPLC, as well as particle size and viscosity measurements.
- Characterize main sites of degradation, and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Aggregate the data using appropriate software packages, generate reports, and present findings at group and departmental meetings, with the ability to concisely communicate the information to multiple stakeholders.
