Under the guidelines established in cooperation between the Director Surgical Services and the Chief of Anesthesia, supports the clinical activities of the anesthesia care givers. Demonstrates technical knowledge and skill related to anesthesia supplies and equipment. Maintains inventory of anesthesia supplies in all anesthesia locations, including, but not limited to OR, labor and delivery, radiology, cardiology. Works closely with GE related to anesthesia equipment maintenance and repairs. Works under the direction of the OR Nurse Manager or her designee.
Knowledge/Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications: BLS certification required and maintained. Must be registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician, since restocking anesthesia carts with medication.
Experience: 6 months to 1 year in a health care setting preferred. Experience in respiratory or surgical setting preferred.
Equipment/Machine Skills: Basic Computer skills preferred
