Work flow study and analysis of business practices Perform analysis of business practices for new applications, enhancements, and bug fixes Application development Prepare designs, technical specifications, and documentation for new applications, application enhancements, and bug fixes Evaluate vendor solutions Code, test, debug, document, and implement software applications for the web Design and document data relationships (eg, experts and stories about experts) Project management for technological and business solutions Manage software vendors and external service providers Coordinate activities of the project team, plan and monitor project Schedules and costs, and take corrective action to stay on schedule Cultivate and foster customer service relationship including reviewing project priorities with key users
Support
Create, document, schedule, and support operational activities Perform support for websites including design, maintenance, performance tuning, and ensuring website integrity Provide off hours support
Leadership
Ensure adherence to departmental standards Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff Recruit and supervise staff: set expectations, monitor progress, and provide formal and informal feedback Provide guidance for professional development Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree, plus 4-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in one or more of these environments:

--Web Development: HTML, XML, CSS, Linux, Apache, PHP, Javascript, Sharepoint, Word Press, Drupal, Moodle

--Programming: ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio, C#, PowerBuilder, Java

--Database Administrations: SQL Server, DB2, MySQL Demonstrated aptitude to quickly and effectively adapt to technologies outside of current experience. Experience with use of business applications in web-based environments. Strategic consulting experience with clients about messaging, audience, content development, marketing, and communications Experience gathering requirements around content strategy (information architecture), graphic design, wireframing, and what needs to be in place for the wireframing Experience providing leadership skills to guide, suggest, and facilitate changes with clients Committed to working within SharePoint but possesses capability to work with other technologies (eg, Joomla, Drupal), when necessary
