Description:
The candidate will assist the government in defining and documenting business processes, analyze existing workflows and business processes as implemented in SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010.
The candidate will be responsible for building Communities of Practice (COP), collaborating work spaces, creating workflows, updating and maintaining SharePoint sites.
Create custom reports utilizing out of the box SQL Reporting Services integrated with SharePoint 2010 to provide real time results.
Author how-to documents for customer knowledge base and to help new team members to orientate quicker with the SharePoint environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide custom JavaScript development
Access SharePoint resources using CAML and/or LINQ
Create SharePoint lists, sites and content types
Experience branding SharePoint sites
Utilize intermediate knowledge of CSS to provide dynamic, customized solutions
Intermediate experience implementing SharePoint BI
Knowledge of and experience with all levels of the SDLC
Develop highly scalable, browser based solutions that meet customer requirements
Assist in the preparation and documentation of project requirements and specifications
Assist and support other team members on multiple, diverse projects
Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies
Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of products
Maintain and/or modify legacy SharePoint solutions

Requirements:
2 + years of experience specific to SharePoint frontend development
Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully partner with business functions and teams to understand the opportunities and identify systems solutions
Ability to travel as needed
Former military is preferred
Secret Clearance required

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) and equivalent experience considered at the discretion of management.

CompTIA Security+ or the ability to obtain certification
Must be able to pass a background investigation
Preferred Certifications: MCTS 70-519, 70-506, 70-536, 70-573
