Duties include technical and analytical work, designing and developing computer based solutions for business users as part of IT Services' Financial Applications Support Team. The employee will need to use an effective blend of technical and business knowledge. Consultation with business users and cross-functional IT staff members is common. There will be a mix of short term and long term projects with various levels of complexity. Work will frequently be independent but will sometimes be as part of a cross functional development team. There will be a mix of maintenance and new development.

Minimum Qualifications:
Contributing: The analyst band requires a foundation of knowledge and skills in area of specialization generally obtained from graduating from a four-year college or university with nine semester hours in programming and at least one year of experience in business application consulting or development. Experience in the field of work related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Journey: The analyst band requires a foundation of knowledge and skills in area of specialization generally obtained from graduating from a four-year college or university with nine semester hours in programming and at least two years of experience in business application consulting or development. Experience in the field of work related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Advanced: The analyst band requires a foundation of knowledge and skills in area of specialization generally obtained from graduating from a four-year college or
university with nine semester hours in programming and at least three years of experience in business application consulting or development. Experience in the field of work related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
