Applications Scientist in Springdale, Arkansas
Function: Provide technical and application expertise to utilize Kerry’s ingredients in customer applications.
· Bench top and pilot plant formulation and development of Coating (batter & breader) and Seasoning systems for Customer application needs.
· Assist customer with new innovations, new application opportunities, line trials, and troubleshooting.
· Assist Operations and Quality Control with manufacturing procedures and testing. Work with operations during commercialization of new items to ensure product success.
· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
· At least 2 years of experience in product development
Preferred experience would be in of the following areas - Cereal or bakery products, Seasonings, spices, or flavors. Meat or poultry, Four & Starches, any Quality Control or Operations experience is helpful.
· Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
