Bachelor’s degree and three years of information technology experience.
This position is an ERP Programmer Analyst Position. Selected candidate will be proficient performing analytical and technical tasks and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability and skills to design and develop for relational databases which include writing efficient and well performing SQL ; develop, implement, maintain and enhance computer applications. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
This position may provide general direction, review and coordinate the activities of other team members and may be assigned to lead one or more development projects.
The position also provides production support by analyzing, designing, programming and testing solutions to complex production problems as well as correcting data in emergency situations.
Preferred qualifications include:
Necessitates the ability to effectively communicate in meetings and discussions with non-technical people to gather and synthesize requirements; analyze problems and propose effective solutions; prepare programming and user documentation; complete assignments within deadlines; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.0 and PeopleTools 8.5x implementation. Knowledge supporting the PeopleSoft modules such as campus community, admissions, student records, HR, payroll, academic advisement, financial aid, student records. Experience and knowledge of object oriented design and development using PeopleCode, SQL , SQR , Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleTools and Java tool set.
