Our customer’s mission is to conduct stationing analyses for future force structure initiatives, including Active Component / Reserve Component (AC/RC) integration, across the force management functional areas.
Essential Job Functions
This position will be responsible for:
Database creation and management
Business process management systems
Should be knowledgeable of data and database structures for the following US Army source systems or centers:
Army Stationing & Installation Plan (ASIP)
Defense Readiness Reporting System – Army (DRRS-A)
Force Management System (FMS)
Installation Status Report (ISR)
Real Property Planning & Analysis System (RPLANS)
Structure & Manpower Allocation System (SAMAS)
Army Knowledge Online (AKO) Business Process Management (BPM) Suite
Functional knowledge to evaluate the functions of the above mentioned systems and determine the ability to modify those functions to create a new system for processing AR 5-10 Stationing Packages.
Creation of an automated system to automate AR 5-10 Stationing Package submission and processing, either through modification of a currently existing DoD system, or through creation of a completely new system.
Perform independent full spectrum validation, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Make recommendations to the government with regards to the acceptance and validation of all software code, data, and systems for production level integration.
Assist to provide any required reporting and documentation for projects worked.
Provide Weekly Status Reports, updates for tasks/milestones that address tasks identified in this SOW.
Provide Monthly Status Reports that addresses work completed, work planned, funding/budget status and risks.
Comply with all applicable Federal and Army policy and procedural standards and guidelines.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
Six or more years of experience in software engineering or operating systems programming
Experience working with software design principles
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly complex software design issues and create new software for one or more products
Good leadership skills to mentor, oversee, and lead team members
Good interpersonal skills to interact with senior customers, management, and team members
Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel
Ability to synthesize broad and narrow concepts of high complexity and use them to meet company objectives
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
