Position reports to the Director of Capital Outlay Planning and Improvement. Daily review and timely response of email messages;daily review and timely response of telephone messages; and proper out-of-office notification for phone and email communication. Prepare written capital projects status reports. Provide technical assistance, including project related support, technical analyses and problem solving on potential issues concerning renovation, and or construction of new facilities Gather and analyze comprehensive list of on-going projects or planned projects providing project management. Assist in space utilization and evaluation required by SCHEV. Attend meetings of the project committee. Draft statement of work for architecture/engineering services. Perform close-out activities on completed projects in accordance with BCOM guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned and completion in accordance with instructions.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college/university. With experiences in conducting facility planning studies for project analysis and in the application of principles, concepts and practices of architecture and planning. Registered architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
