This Area Manager will serve in Phoenix, AZ. This individual will manage and oversee 8-10 Convenience Stores. Develop a culture to promote safety, security and legal compliance, supports company|
's vision, mission and values. Meet zone objectives for fuel sales, merchandise sales and profits. Ensure capital assets, marketing strategies and staff support activities are managed within company guidelines in a manner that maximizes financial return to the company. Direct Store Managers on staffing utilization within labor budget guidelines, recruits, interviews/hires, and evaluates procedures based on company standards. Lead and coach all facets of personnel issues, including OJT training, supervision, promotions, terminations, counsels/coaches, reviews/evaluates, motivates and develops, all store managers. Ensure all store personnel attend required training, certified according to company and mandated standards, and function effectively as well trained employees
Successful candidate must be willing to oversee a large geographic area and comply with Company’s fleet driving program.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum five years extensive retail management experience required with a preference of department or multi-unit convenience store experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
Excellent strong interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills required.
Proficient project coordination and management skills required.
