Assembler-Weekend Night Shift
The assembler is responsible for assembling component parts, lifting assembled parts into machines, and unloading the assembled part into cage.
This person will also be responsible for quality checks using appropriate gages as necessary. This person must pay significant attention to detail, must be self-motivated, and must be able to function as a team member in a group incentive environment.
The assembler will cooperate and communicate with all levels of the department and organization. This person may be called to work on other Assembly areas as needed. This person will maintain productivity standards and perform changeovers while exhibiting cooperation and communication skills. S/he must perform self inspections. This person will adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Knows and understands the specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contributes to the achievement of the quality objectives.
LuK product knowledge, blueprint reading & knowledge of current quality specifications.
Communication, motivation, problem solving.
Efficiency, consistency, good attendance.
High School diploma or equivalent, and mechanical aptitude.
At least 2 years of experience as an assembler is preferred.
Dexterity to assemble component parts with both hands. Repetitively twist, bend and lift up to 40lbs.
