Asset / Property Analyst - Melbourne, FL

This Capital Asset Analyst position will serve as a liaison between the Operations, Finance and Engineering organizations; analyzing, interpreting, and reporting both physical and financial asset data.
Evaluate and define asset dependency, cost of risk impact on operating income, and find hidden capacity in existing resources.
Assess operations to define overall equipment effectiveness and associated risk factors to drive strategic capital expenditure forecasting.
Minimize capital expenditures, while meeting program milestones and Service Level Agreements.
Manage general ledger reconciliation to perpetual system balances to ensure process compliance and repeatability.
Maintain asset acquisition/disposition dates, date assets are withdrawn from active service, and any other factors that directly influence asset useful lives.
Institutionalize Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliant processes and procedures that ensure asset transactions are accurate, authorized, safeguarded, recorded, and reported.
Administer the Capital asset Internal Control Self-Assessment.
Perform asset self-assessments to evaluate overall process and system effectiveness.
Standardize metrics for measuring performance to achieve desired outcomes.
Safeguard assets through timely detection of unauthorized activities.
Lead Capital asset tool standardization initiatives.
BS/ BA, (or equivalent,) and a minimum of six years of applicable experience in a Asset Management and/or Finance leadership capacity
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong Excel knowledge.
