The AM Finance Project Team partners with regional and product business managers and CFOs worldwide to provide decision support and business intelligence solutions that drive business growth. The team partners with technology and operations to support the MIS platforms, conduct analysis and design MIS solutions around revenue growth, client asset flows, business growth metrics, sales management scorecards etc.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Project Manager within the AM Finance Project Team you will act as the lead PM and/or assistant PM on a number of strategic initiatives. The candidate will support Asset Management finance projects across various geographic locations and business groups and will have the opportunity to partner with technology, operations, finance, and the business.

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Project Management including detailed project plans, tracking and escalating issues, measuring progress against all deliverables, and preparing stakeholder communications. In addition, the candidate will partner with the rest of the team to support the scope definition, requirements, and user acceptance testing phases of the project.

Key work effort will include:
Partner closely with the business to ensure business objectives and priorities are identified and being addressed

Prepare and track resource plans and project budget

Prepare and maintain detailed project plans

Communicate status to stakeholders including Executive Steering Committee

Track and escalate risks as appropriate

Identify and create key metrics for measuring progress on specific projects

Interface with partners across other functions including technology, operations and finance to ensure all deliverables remain on target

Partner with other team members to ensure high quality deliverables including business requirements documents, operating procedures, test strategy and user acceptance plans

Manage tollgates between project phases and assess readiness to proceed

Partner with technology and business analysis team to ensure functional specifications meet business requirements


Must have 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Project Manager

Experience with Asset Management business (private banking and/or investment management)

Experience with financial concepts, financial management reporting

Highly motivated, and results-oriented

Outstanding written and communication skills

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to develop strong relationships and influence people

Effective issue resolutions and problem solving abilities

Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work

Strong PC skills, including MS Power Point, MS Project, MS Excel and MS Access

Bachelor's degree required
