Job Description

Provide HR consultation to the JPMorgan Asset Management business, and ensure delivery of HR services. Oversee the administration and interpretation of human resources policies, programs and services, including recruitment, selection, retention, training, performance management, HRIS, compensation & benefits, employee relations, employment practices, policies and procedures.

Individual will be part of the HR team supporting the HR team within Investment Management -This will include supporting senior HR Business Partners by providing reporting and information tracking across the HR team.

Understand and "own" various HR initiatives and projects.

Participate in regular business management planning and coordination sessions.

of HR policies, programs and procedures.

Coordinate with HR operations areas and HR Specialists to ensure effective service delivery to line managers and employees.

Work as part of the team to create and deliver HR reporting for the HR team and the business.

Participate in Talent Review process specifically responsible for preparing meeting materials, tracking notes and promotions.

Maintain succession plan, promotion radar, top talent, etc. information for multiple business groups.

Additional reporting will be required on a regular and ad hoc basis for both the HR team and business.


Knowledge of human resources processes, principles, concepts and methodology.

2-5 years experience at a major financial services firm.

Experience supporting an Investment Management business is strongly preferred.

Good conflict management, influencing and negotiation skills.

Ability to advise business unit managers and employees on their HR-related issues and to engage the appropriate internal or external resources in order to resolve problems or answer questions.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Demonstrated competence and experience in reporting and tracking of detailed data.

Ability to manage in a changing environment and deal with ambiguity.

Competence in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong results/goal orientation.

Work with a sense of urgency with attention to detail.

Presentation skills.

Highly skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

College degree required.
