The Park University School of Business is seeking to fill a position for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Decision Sciences. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 2013.

Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in decision sciences, business statistics, operations research, logistics, supply chain management or a closely related field. ABDs will be considered. Candidates should have an interest in teaching supply/logistics and project management, introductory management science, business statistics, and production operations courses at the undergraduate level and management science and business statistics at the graduate level.

Essential skills for this candidate include evidence of effective teaching with outcome-based practices, scholarship potential, and the ability to work collaboratively. Online teaching experience and experience in course design is desired. Evidence of applied professional experience is preferred. The appointment can carry rank at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicants should have a teaching, research, and service record supporting appointment as an Associate Professor.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising students, participating actively in scholarship and research, and collaborating with colleagues in program development. Other responsibilities include being active in professional organizations within the discipline, providing service to the university and community, and other faculty-related duties as assigned.
