Manhattan College's Department of Management and Marketing has launched a new faculty recruitment initiative to hire talented and energetic individuals who can contribute to the mission of the School of Business, which emphasizes the development of the whole person by integrating a values-based education with current business theory, skills and practices. The School of Business offers AACSB accredited programs of study, including an inter-disciplinary five-year BS/MBA track, to approximately 700 business majors.
The department's search committee invites applications for three full-time, tenure track positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor, starting in Fall of 2013. In view of the integrative nature of our program, we seek candidates with broad teaching interests in such areas as strategic management, operations management, entrepreneurship, innovation, human resource management, and organizational behavior.
An earned doctorate in management or a closely related discipline, preferably from an AACSB accredited institution, is required for appointment. Candidates who are ABD but expect to receive their Ph.D.'s by the starting date will also be considered. Ideal candidates will show evidence of quality teaching, a commitment to scholarly research, and a willingness to serve on department, school and college committees.
Please send a cover letter, CV, three letters of recommendation, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and a sample of current research by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org .
The application deadline is November 1, 2012 or until the position is filled.
