The Department of Political Science seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor with tenure position from individuals with research and teaching interests in International Relations. Candidates who could contribute in areas such as, but not necessarily limited to, International Policy Studies, Global/International Environmental Politics, International Politics of Human Rights, International Law, and/or International Organizations, are encouraged to apply; the ability to contribute to qualitative and quantitative methods courses and/or to comparative politics topics or areas and/or to coordinating our undergraduate and high school Model UN programs is also desirable.
The Political Science Department offers a B.A. degree. A 2/2 teaching load is available for our research productive faculty. As we undergo expansion, Political Science faculty members also have the opportunity to teach in interdisciplinary graduate programs, contribute to planning new ones and engage in ongoing curricular development. The College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is undertaking a new Global Studies Ph. D. program and interest in contributing significantly to this venture is a plus for any candidate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in Political Science or equivalent (must have Ph.D. by start date of appointment, September 2013)
