Chapman University seeks applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Schmid College of Science and Technology. The position begins fall semester, 2013.

Qualifications

Requirements include a PhD in Biological Sciences and evidence of a strong background in computational modeling in genetics. A demonstrated record of undergraduate teaching and excellent research and publications is imperative. The ideal candidate will have experience in the private sector.

Responsibilities

Teach 4 courses per year that may include genetics, biostatistics, and computational biology (undergraduate and graduate), and mentor student research in biological sciences and biochemistry. Tenure track faculty are also expected to develop and maintain an active research agenda for future tenure consideration.
