We are looking for a well-rounded Assistant Account Executive to join the digital team in our Portland office, supporting a wide variety of brands, while assisting with new business development.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
The Assistant Account Executive must have a strong entrepreneurial drive, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines from multiple stakeholders. S/he must be proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. The Assistant Account Executive must have a significant understanding of social media community management. Strong project and time management skills are a must.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Assistant Account Executive understands and is able to assist in the development of content calendars for a broad selection of social media platforms. He/she must also have solid research, writing and editing skills. S/he should understand why online monitoring is important and be able to identify tools (paid and free) that can be used to identify relevant conversations and influencers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct online media audits using a wide range of research and reporting tools
  • Identify and flag opportunities for client programs that increase visibility in social media
  • Write content for social media using search and community management best practices
  • Actively participate in brainstorms and idea sessions for current and prospective clients
  • Prepare status reports, recaps, and updates that help keep the account team abreast of timelines and deadlines
  • Develop presentations with pitch teams for use in upselling client programs and/or for presenting to new business prospects
