DESCRIPTION

Location: 301 Mays Crossing Dr Round Rock 78664The Assistant Branch Manager will be a strong team leader responsible for implementing and supervising teller operations and member service functions. Will coordinate, direct and assign work of the teller staff and will be cross trained to service the branch in the capacity of Financial Service Representative as needed. Will also function as the acting manager in the absence of the Branch Manager.

DUTIES

Must be a leader of branch operations to include coaching staff, evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed. General training and supervision of teller staff. Ensure staff is well trained and up to date on all credit union policies and procedures. Responsible for cash management of the branch and ATM.Answer teller and member questions and concerns with strong problem resolution capabilities. Promote Credit Union growth by attaining and motivating staff to attain sales goals. Focus on branch activity, recommend and implement methods to increase business, monitor quality performance of staff. Ensure the overall smooth flow of teller line and assist by processing teller transactions as necessary. Will assist and act as a Financial Service Representative as necessary. During the Branch Manager's absence handle any member issues and staff problems to ensure smooth branch operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. College degree preferred. Must work in an efficient and organized manner. Have strong knowledge of cash handling and account reconciliation processes. Working knowledge of financial services and operations focused on teller operations. Minimum of 2 years financial institution experience preferably teller, financial services or branch operations.Minimum of 1-2 years people management experience is required preferably in a financial institution. Must be available to work a flexible 40 hour schedule to include all branch operating hours and a rotating Saturday schedule.
