The Brand role in critical in building that experience by driving leadership of our brands that will deliver portfolio growth through creation of distinctive brand positions, improve brand health, and capture emerging, growing segments of the market.
Assist in the development of brand equity statements, brand positioning, and brand identity guidelines and ensure adherence in all aspects of brand communication
Assist in the management and development of brand trademarks, registrations and equity assets
Assist in brand business reviews and the development of yearly marketing plans in support of business goals: marketing objectives, strategies and tactics and the rationale to support.
Assist in driving plan development throughout the year by serving as the liaison to merchandising and marketing analytics team for period and quarterly data tracking and analysis
Drive flawless execution of Brand programs and events, working in an integrated manner with corporate marketing and project management teams.
Execute marketing integration with Merchandising and Shopper marketing teams to drive participation across enterprise events. Lead selection and confirmation of items for event inclusion. Insure legal compliance and consistent application of brand trademarks in all creative executions.
Assist in the development of new business/growth opportunities.
Assist in the development of brand strategy in the packaging environment.
Partner with private brands packaging design team to ensure brand strategy and architecture is carried through execution.
Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. MA or MBA preferred. Relevant 1-4 years experience of brand, retail marketing or strategy experience.
Strategic Skills: Strategic thinking skills required. Demonstrate ability to create strategically sound plans and programs based on business and corporate objectives.
Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills. Ability to develop and synthesize data that translate into meaning strategic recommendations.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work successfully with functional and peer counterparts; Ability to influence effective partnership; can navigate in a complicated matrix environment.
Innovation: Can develop new and breakthrough ideas, deliver a fresh perspective to create value in the market.
