Reporting directly to the Head Coach for the Men's Golf Program with the primary responsibility to support the Head Coach in administration of a competitive NCAA Division I Golf Program that adheres to all University, Big East Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach, assist with scouting and recruiting of student-athletes, assist with alumni and fund raising, monitor the training, academic progress and eligibility status of student-athletes, manage team travel and oversee the discipline, conduct and image of student athletes.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization, and one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above. Successful experience as a graduate student or intern is acceptable for up to one year of the required experience. Related coaching experience at the professional level can be substituted for the degree requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Master's degree in related field from an accredited university and one year of coaching experience at the college/university level. Collegiate or professional playing experience.
