A Japanese owned, agricultural equipment manufacturer is currently seeking an Assistant Credit Manager to add to their Suwanee, GA team. Our core business hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F. However we will need to accommodate the different time zones so the candidate needs to be available to work all shifts: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 9:30 PM - 5:30 PM, 10:30 AM 6:30 PM and 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM. The incumbent may be locked into one shift or work a rotation of any of these shifts. BASIC SCOPE - Oversee Credit Analyst staff responsible for decisioning of retail credit applications from commercial and consumer applicants. Serve as first line of appeal for dealers on declined applications. Identify industry trends and notify upper management of any adverse implications in daily operations. PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES - This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations and the Company's policies, procedures andguidelines: 1. Review declined applications and respond to dealer appeals. Maximize approvals within acceptable risk levels. 2. Policy and procedures compliance via SOX audits and internal audits. Gather audit data for SOX audits and complete monthly internal audit review. 3. Mentor/Train, coach and counsel employees. Responsible for completing and delivering performance reviews. Partner with HR and Manager on disciplinary actions and termination procedures. Instrumental in interviewing and recruiting process. Ensure company policies are being complied with. 4. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, which results in faster decision times and improved approvals % without added risk. 5. Lead special projects and delegate responsibilities accordingly. 6. Exercise due diligence to identify and fraudulent activity. 7. Daily and monthly unit results - reporting to LOC Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - A. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics and 7+ years experience in credit decisioning capacity, 3+ years credit management experience. B. Skills and Background:1. Strong knowledge and experience with commercial credit. 2. Strong financial statement analytical skills. Must be able to spread financial statements, calculate critical ratios, identify past trends, and accurately project future performance. 3. Knowledge of loan contracts and how to perfect a security interest (both commercial and consumer contract experience is preferred) 4. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite5.
