THE JOB : Currently accepting resumes for a Jr. Digital Media Planner/Buyer

THE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Coordinate digital media planning and buying and buying efforts within assigned campaigns for a major regional automotive account in conjunction with Digital Media Supervisor and Planner. Junior Digital Media Planner/Buyer must effectively interact with digital media team, internal regional account and media teams, and client marketing staff as needed
Communicate with media partners, sales contacts, and agency contacts across multiple offices and time zones
Assist team with digital media planning and buying responsibility for assigned campaigns supporting regional event- and model-focused retail initiatives
Work with digital media team on development, negotiation, implementation, tracking, and optimization of digital media campaigns including most or all of the following: online display banners and video, site-direct buys, online ad networks/DSPs, behavioral targeting, rich media, mobile, and coordination of budget tracking
Master use of online media campaign/tracking tools including DoubleClick’s MediaVisor/ DART and proprietary agency billing system
Manage day-to-day billing process in accordance with direction from media supervisors in Dallas office, support of Digital Media Billing Coordinator in Fort Lauderdale office, and billing team in Los Angeles office
Oversee Digital Media Billing Coordinator in Fort Lauderdale office, who receives/tracks digital media vendor invoices and coordinates approval and payment with Dallas-based digital media team and billing team in Los Angeles office
Assist with entering media campaign billing information into agency systems as needed
As directed and overseen by the Digital team, develop and present POVs and media analyses to agency team and clients
Coordinate with digital account team on creative asset needs/availability and appropriate landing page/linking for individual media placements as set up in MediaVisor/DART
Coordinate with separate traffic team to ensure digital buys implement properly
Facilitate keeping entire media group and clients current on interactive issues and marketplace/technology developments
4-year undergraduate degree in advertising, marketing, media, digital media, or similar
A self-starter with ability to quickly learn and take on new responsibilities
Eagerness to get in the trenches and work with a broader agency team as a digital media expert
Understanding of or internships in advertising, media, or digital are a plus but not required
Familiarity with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Demonstrated presentation and writing skills
