This multifaceted position plays a key role in supporting the Burlington Campus students throughout their BPC program by providing an array of services specifically designed to assist students with successful completion of their degree.

Provide excellent customer service for prospective and existing students. Oversee student registration and act as Registrar Liaison. Oversee written paperwork for practicum students prior to placement. Responsible for student orientation program in collaboration with other staff. Oversee student mentoring and other student led programs. Communicate directly with enrolled students each semester to advise them of the services and supports available to them. Develop and facilitate a meeting for students to monitor their needs versus services offered. Schedule and oversee MTEL sessions and computer test-out sessions. Support enrollment efforts in collaboration with admissions and the Burlington staff team including coordination of a resource day for One-Day students. Provide services for off-site graduate students in special education. Assist with coordinating and conducting off-site open houses regarding aspects of financial aid, advising and registration for all programs. Hold monthly one hour phone office hours for offsite sped students. Develop and disseminate monthly newsletter/communication to enrolled students. Compile and analyze registration statistics for administrative purposes and prepares statistical and other reports as needed. Evaluate transfer credits and degree audits for One-Day undergraduate students. Coordinate and deliver services to students who are continuing on to graduate/5 year programs especially during the transitioning semester between undergrad and graduate. Monitor attendance sheets and enforce attendance policy; LOAs; add/drop students; send out semester schedule approval letter. Monitor students’ academic progress including following established policies/procedures and assisting student’s with academic support services. Assist in developing and interpreting registration policies for faculty and students; advise students on courses offered. Work with Business Office and Student Financial Services to ensure compliance with finance policies and to communicate changes, academic policies and student course loads. Reconcile student tuition accounts including accepting payments on behalf of the College. Monitor the progress and status of award applicants. Oversee graduation ceremonies at the Burlington campus and coordinate services with the Longmeadow campus. Provide information for CLEP/Challenge Exams to students. Oversee immunization process including compliance and communications with students who may be withdrawn from classes. Refer students in need to outside counseling services.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must have Bachelor’s degree required with related experience in Higher Education. Familiarity with standard recordkeeping procedures, including American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers’ (AACRAO) and the provisions of FERPA and other legal issues relating to official academic records helpful. Qualified candidates must be able to work with confidential material with integrity and discretion and effectively prioritize responsibilities and adhere to deadlines. Applicants must have excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills, and be extremely detail oriented. Candidates must have advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database experience required SCAN and POWERFAIDS helpful. Experience with Campus Cafe and Crystal Reports preferred. Must be available to work Saturdays as a regular schedule.
