DESCRIPTION

Works under the direct supervision of the Transportation Coordinator; is responsible for the transportation of clients to and from their quarters or other areas as authorized by the proper authority, i.e. transportation Supervisor, Transportation Coordinator or Client Coordinator

1 Full-time position is available.

Hours: Varies.

Location: Bentonville, AR.

DUTIES

Supervises aides and clients while en-route.

Works cooperatively with other staff operations supervisors, parents, guardians, and maintenance
personnel.

Becomes familiar with corporate policy pertaining to transporting personnel.

Becomes familiar with the type of vehicle being operated.

Maintains records as needed and releases to the transportation/client coordinator upon request, i.e.,
UMTA reports, time sheets, complaint sheets and other reports as needed.

Releases to maintenance section in writing any problems associated with vehicle.

Maintains communications with the transportation/client coordinator to insure information concerning
clients, i.e., behavior, not attending, address changes, problems are kept current.

Assists with light maintenance of vehicles.

Maintaining schedules for routine maintenance and repairs.

Cleaning of vehicles.

Maintain vehicle logs.

Supervises the aide in the performance of their duties.

Ensures compliance with safety procedures for personnel and vehicles and assures that all riders
have been removed from the vehicle and checked into school or responsible person's home after
completion of route.

Reports to the transportation coordinator or designated representative any problems encountered
while en-route and/or complaints from parents or guardians.

Develops good driver/client relationships by treating all clients with courtesy, tact and kindness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with vehicle fleets preferred. Be familiar with vehicle maintenance, schedules, and with scheduling vehicles for service with vendors.

One to three months of related experience and/or training.

Must possess current Arkansas Driver's License, have current auto liability insurance coverage, and be physically able to drive to various locations in Arkansas. Must have a good driving record.

Must be at least 25 years of age to operate Pathfinder, Inc. owned vehicles.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen test. Supervises aides and clients while en-route.
