Assistant Instructor/Lecturer (Variable-time)
Department of Aviation Management and Flight

The College of Applied Sciences and Arts at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking qualified applicants for the following anticipated variable-time Assistant Instructor or Lecturer position within ASA's Aviation Management Program beginning August 16, 2013.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in appropriate area required (Assistant Instructor); Master's Degree in appropriate area preferred (Lecturer). Minimum two years post-secondary teaching experience and/or related industry experience required.

Responsibilities: To teach one or more of the following courses: Air Transport Labor Relations, Airline Management, Aviation Industry Career Development, Aviation Maintenance Management, Aviation Management Writing and Communication, Aviation Industry Regulations. To maintain appropriate office hours and to assist students with program-related matters. To attend department meetings as required. To engage in other assignments as determined by the chair of the department.
