Operate portions of the PSI processes including forecasting, commitment and allocation, responsible for assisting in the development of the team

Duties & Responsibilities

Analyze TV Sales Forecast at AP1 level from Sales Team in order to compile aggregated AP2 forecast for SEC Korea

Operate portions of the TV product commitment process to customers (external):
  • Analyze information by customer and by product
  • Communicate commitment to Sales Team and/or directly to the customer
Operate portions of the TV product allocation process (internal); work with BOC Order Management and the factories

Identify and resolve complex customer order issues/problems in conjunction with Sales and BOC

Communicate with SEC Global Operations, ADC planners, on the SEA TV production plan:
  • Monitor delays in production
  • Monitor launch timing for old/new models
  • Overall product availability
Develop and operate within process improvement projects, as needed

Background /
Experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Admin.3-5 years work experience in relevant field
Solid experience in Consumer Electronics or Goods in a forecasting/allocation environment preferred, or strong experience in logistics or operations
Strong math, communication and organization skills
Strong detail orientation
Excellent computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office
Ability to interact with all levels of management internally
Travel as required
MAJOR CONTACTS: Visual Display Marketing Product Managers - daily interaction regarding product availability, allocation, and transition planning.
CED Sales Managers - daily activity on product availability, allocation and commitment.
ADC Planners - production issues, both inbound and outbound logistics issues
Global Operations - production planning and product life management
BOC - order management
External contact with customers as needed
