The Assistant Coach will assist with all duties associated with coaching student athletes. Also provides athletic skill support for individual and team.
Responsibilities
Assist with the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of student athletes.
Provide individual and team skill development for tennis.
Assist in the academic monitoring of students throughout the semester.
Assist in scheduling practices and matches.
Attend all home and away matches.
Maintain strong relations with admission and other academic support staff.
Understanding Skyline Conference, NCAA and NYU-Poly rules and regulations.
Ability to promote good sportsmanship and teamwork.
Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience Requirements
Atleast one (1) year minimum experience of coaching at the collegiate or high school level.
Must successfully pass a background check (BCI).
Highly motivated, organized, and good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to promote good sportsmanship and teamwork.
