Under the leadership of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager utilizes the concepts of participative management to plan, coordinate, direct and evaluation nursing services in assigned department(s) to ensure that services are provided within the philosophy and objectives as well as policies and procedures of the Division of Patient Services and South Miami Hospital. Also supports and assist the Manager in the efficient operation and overall financial planning of the department.
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. All Associate Degree nurses hired must agree to achieve their BSN degree within 3 years of start date and must be licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse. At least 2 years of Orthopedic, Neurology and Telemetry nursing. Current CPR.
