The 2nd shift Assistant Operator will be responsible for providing support to the machine operator for the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Assemble fabricated parts and finished products.
Assist machine operator to include machine setup, upkeep, meeting productivity efficiencies, load materials and stack/bundle products.
Ability to learn and perform multiple manufacturing tasks.
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to adhere to attendance, safety, GMP, quality and OSHA policies
Minimum of 2-3 years manufacturing experience and supporting machines
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk up to 12 hours per day
Abilit to push/pul repetitively
Must be able to read a manufacturing production master sheet
Ability to read and understand tape measure and calculate measurements
Ability to work in non-climate controlled environment
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Detail oriented and ability to organize workload
Must complete assignments in a timely fashion to keep plant operational
Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts and overtime
Must have positive work attitude, strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment
Self driven to work and learn new skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions
