The Children's Learning Institute at the The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) seeks to hire a faculty member at the Assistant Professor level to join its Pediatric
                  Neuroimaging Group . As part of our targeted development of our clinical and cognitive neuroscience programs, The Children's Learning Institute at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth) is recruiting a n independent researcher with expertise in pediatric fMRI studies in Educational Neuroscience and/or developmental cognitive neuroscience.                   A s part of the Medical School at UTHealth, state-of-the-art neuroimaging facilities dedicated to research activities include a Philips 3T MRI scanner with a 32ch head coil and a mock scanner for introducing children to the MRI procedure before they participate in research studies. Currently funded pediatric neuroimaging research studies highlight the ease of accessibility to both developmental and acquired injury populations of children in the Houston Metropolitan Area .
