The Psychology Department is in the College of Letters and Science. Neuroscience is a major focus of our research and teaching mission. The Psychology Department offers two doctoral programs and two terminal master’s degree programs.
Job Summary/Basic Function:
Responsibilities include developing an independent extramurally funded research program and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the neurosciences and experimental psychology as well as faculty service.
Area of research specialization is open but outstanding individuals with interests in attention, perception, action, language, or emotion are particularly encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Neuroscience or a closely related field.
Significant Post-doctoral research experience.
Research interests in cognitive neuroscience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong potential for extramural funding.
Demonstrated research productivity.
Interest in fostering graduate and undergraduate research experiences.
Excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching.
Ability to strengthen or expand existing programs.
