The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine is seeking applications at the assistant professor (non-tenure track) level for the position of Clinical Director of the Ronald McDonald Caremobile (RMCM) Clinical Outreach Program. Responsibilities will include coordination of clinical outreach activities and treatment, provision and supervision of care to children at the Head Start age range or greater including children with special needs, provision of complex care using sedation at one of University Hospitals outpatient surgical settings including Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. There is an expectation that programs and presentations will be made at the local, state, regional, national, and international levels related to RMCM innovative outreach activities. This will also include publication of RMCM program activities that will benefit dental education.
The qualified applicant should be a graduate with a DMD or DDS from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited United States dental school. The applicant should also be a graduate and have received a certificate in training from a CODA accredited pediatric dentistry advanced education program. Eligibility to be certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is required.
