Job Summary: The Forensic Science/Crime Scene Investigation Department is seeking candidates for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be able to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: basic forensic science, fingerprints, bloodstain pattern analysis, trace and impression evidence, arson and forensic topics related to evidence documentation, processing and recovery. Full-time faculty appointments are for a ten-month contract period and the normal teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester. Student advisement and participation on college committees are required. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Requirements/Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or a closely related field and experience in crime scene investigation are required. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
